MR. ROBERT BARRY COMPTON You know what the donut guy told me? Reward. Big reward for helping find that girl. Lots of money. I could maybe buy a car. A fast car. One of those ones that goes so fast it has to have big tires. And I could get one of those microwave things and cook right in my own room. I’d have to figure out where to put all of that money. I don’t think I should keep it in my closet. Somebody could look there.       You know what? I could get something nice for my mom. Something she could show people. She watches TV all the time. I might get her one of those thin things. What do you call them? What the hell do you call them? Anyway, you can hang them on the wall or something and the picture’s really sharp. I bet she’d be proud of me. Maybe not, but I bet she’d show her friends from church.
